AMPHOS 21 Consulting S.L. is an SME located in Barcelona that provides scientific and technical consultancy services since1994. Our company addresses a range of environmental issues mainly associated with the management and disposal of hazardous wastes, contaminated groundwater, and soils, as well as environmental planning and management, climate change, and CO₂ geological storage. The technical competence and skills of AMPHOS 21 staff are very high. Approximately 30 % of consultants hold a degree or a Ph.D in Chemistry, 25 % in Geology, and 20 % are engineers or hold a Ph.D. in Engineering. The Amphos 21 group has offices in Spain, France, Perú, and Chile. Amphos 21 is currently participating in 5 FP7 projects.

Vilanova

Ester Vilanova holds a PhD in Geology from Universitat Autonoma of Barcelona (Spain) focused on hydrogeology. She has more than 14 years of professional experience on geology, hydrogeology and hydrochemistry. Her main areas of expertise are hydrogeologic characterization, hydrochemical studies, application of environmental isotopes to groundwater studies and integrated water management. She is also competent in hydrochemical modelling studies for decision support in water management.
