Van Remmen UV Techniek develops and produces ultraviolet disinfection equipment for the treatment of liquids and surfaces. The company is based in Wijhe, The Netherlands, and the products are distributed by dealers in the national and international market. Van Remmen is specialized in the production, consultation, and development of innovative, proven UV equipment solutions for a range of applications. Having harnessed the latest know-how about UV technologies, the core business is in water treatment. Van Remmen works closely with research institutes. Some examples of interesting projects are the TNO project HeliXeR, and the TTIW project with Wetsus, TU Delft and KWR.
Involvement in DEMEAU:
Van Remmen is a UV specialist SME looking at innovative technology for drinking water and waste water treatment. Our role will be to optimize the specific input of UV equipment and to aim for practical commercial applications. We want to gain experience with AOP technology, in order to extend our scope as a UV disinfection specialist to a UV oxidation specialist and solution provider.
