The objectives of this work package are:

• To ensure that the objectives of the project will be met
• To build a strong liaison between the consortium partners and the associate utilities

The following tasks (with deliverables and milestones) are planned:

T7.1.1: Project Management

• Act as link to the European Commission
• Prepare Consortium Agreement with approval and subscription of all partners
• Establish and maintain an effective and efficient management and coordination structure
• Administration of financial matters: manage the financial contribution from the EC and ensure a proper distribution to the partners
• Quality assurance within the network: review the timely execution of tasks, quality control and validation of the project deliverables and rescheduling of tasks when necessary
• Launch an electronic project management tool for progress and resources monitoring and report preparation (restricted area of the website)
• Prepare periodic progress and financial reports
• Prepare, chair and report on internal meetings
• Coordinate and facilitate good collaboration among the project partners
• Manage the financial contribution from the EC and ensure a proper distribution to the partners

Task 7.1.2: Coordination and management of the demonstration cases

• Planning and coordination of the demonstration activities, ensuring the integration and maximum added value of research outcomes
• Organising the interaction between demonstration cases and researchers
• Balancing the needs and interest of the different stakeholders within the project
• Contributing to the periodic reports on these activities
